I seem to have missed most of the summer blogging but that's just because I like being busy. Most of that time has gone on setting a launch date for TCR fm, to be a full time community radio station in Tamworth. We are ready to reveal the launch date very soon. But this post is about Reach OnAir because today will be my last afternoon slot. I'm just taking a back seat from the presenting while we work hard on TCR fm. I've been doing Saturday afternoons since the station launched in May 2008 so it will be a bit odd not having a show, especially as I will still be in the studio with our new trainees and new members. I was comfortable in a Saturday afternoon slot because that is where I began on CMP Radio in 2003, same slot, same show features so it's about time to give it a rest! Plus there aren't enough hours in the day to do everything and this will give our new TCR members more hours on a Saturday afternoon as we move TCR's times to 2-6pm on Saturdays starting next week.
